Totally 4 Him, prides in being just that…. “Totally 4 Him”. The group was formed in June 2008 and its members range from 18 to 50 in ages. Carlos Harvey, Michael Harvey Jr (Turk)., Dante Eady, Jesse Eady, & Cornelius Carr . They have one of the members’ Aunts to thank for the group forming. One evening, the church they all attend, Full Gospel Church of God, in Lumber City, GA, pastured by Bishop William Hollis was in the middle of a musical program. One group that was supposed to perform canceled, and the Aunt convinced the guys to go on in their place. As they say, “the rest is history”.
Totally 4 Him started traveling and singing around the country and abroad, with their Pastor, and the likes of Lee Williams & the Spiritual QC’s, Canton Spirituals, The Gospel 4, the late Tommy Ellison, Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites, and many more.
In December, 2008, the group came in 1st place at the Musbo Artists Competition, which was held in Houston, TX. That landed them a record deal with Optimus Records. The deal didn’t work out and the group parted ways with the label, but they are grateful for the learning experience.
Currently, Totally 4 Him is getting ready to release their single entitled, “All We Need Is Love”, feat. Stan Jones & Doug Williams. They like to call their type of music, “Quartemporary”, which is a blend of quartet and contemporary music… sort of “New Age” Quartet Music. Their goal is to reach souls through mass ministry.
